Congratulations to three of my students who submitted a video in the C-SPAN Student Cam competition. Thanks to them, I have learned to navigate Windows Movie Maker. I am not a pro, but I can get around it. I will post a video of something I did in WMM soon.

I am playing with a new website called Aviary. I learned about it from Alan November’s website. This is a picture that I altered in Aviary’s Image Editor, Phoenix. More to come!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. Oh well, that’s the busy life of an educator. I am in the process of producing a Coffee House Theatre production, working on writing curriculum, preparing a presentation for the Technology Conference. I am not complaining, just explaining. It sounds weird, but I enjoy my busy life. I enjoy what I do in my life as an educator. Until next time . . .

Since the school year has begun and I started using a wiki with my students, I have been thinking about my blog. In the coming weeks my blog will change from a site for students and parents to a blog for educators to dialogue, collaborate, and find interesting resources. If you have any interesting ideas for me, please add a comment. I’d love to hear from you!

Tommorrow is the official first day of school for students. I am looking forward to a great year where I try some of the new things I learned during my professional development-filled summer. I will be updating my blog periodically. I may change the focus. I’m not sure. Stay tuned…

P.S.  LOVE the new dashboard Edublogs!
